Köln, Hannover, Berlin, Stuttgart, Bremen, München etc. etc. Some even date back to roman times like Augsburg and Mainz. Now that I think of it I believe Köln too originates from the romans. You could say germany is a medieval country. With the HRE or "Heiliges Römisches Reich Deutscher Nation" being Germany in it's Alpha and all.
